What is Code Mode?
Code Mode is a switch on the CalcSolver calculator that turns the keypad into a code entry box. Type the four-digit code 0000 and the hidden games list opens — 130+ games, playable in the same browser tab, no download and no account. Switch Code Mode back off and you have an ordinary calculator again, which is the whole trick: to anyone glancing at your screen, you are doing math.
CalcSolver went viral on TikTok in exactly this form — a plain calculator site whose keypad secretly opens a games arcade. The mechanic has three moving parts: the switch, the 4-digit codes, and a games grid that loads embedded games from third-party hosts. Everything on this page was verified against the live calculator on October 6, 2026.
How to Enter It — 3 Steps
- Flip the Code Mode switch. Open the calculator and find the toggle labeled “Code Mode” beside the display. Switch it on. The display clears to 0 and now expects digits as code, not math.
- Type 0000. Press 0 0 0 0 on the keypad (keyboard number row works too). Each digit appears as a dot — ••••. Don't press =: the fourth digit submits the code automatically, and the games list opens instantly.
- Pick a game. A dark grid of game cards covers the calculator. Scroll it, use its search box, or click the Updates card for news. Click any game and it loads in the same tab. To leave, hit Exit.
Prefer to skip the grid? Type a game's own 4-digit code instead of 0000 — for example 1016 opens Backrooms directly. Codes for the six most-searched games: Backrooms 1016, 2048 1004, Among Us 1010, Basket Random 1022, Bloxorz 1028, Ballistic 1021.
What Is the Code: 0000 vs 000
The code is 0000 — four zeros, not three. This is the single most common reason “Code Mode doesn't work”: the vault only reacts when exactly four digits have been typed, so 000 (three zeros) never triggers anything — the box is simply still waiting for a fourth digit.
Two more failure modes look like a wrong code. First, an operator key pressed between digits (the keypad does math keys too — press C and retype). Second, a valid but empty code: 1020 (Baldi's Basics) and 2021 (World's Hardest Game) are in the list but had no game behind them when we checked — the door opens, the room is empty.
And to be clear about the other numbers you'll see: codes 1001–1099 and 2001–2031 are per-game shortcuts, not alternative passwords. 0000 is the only code that opens the entire list.
